Guest Contribution from Joseph B Pine II -
The Experience Economy

Strategic Interactive Marketing is built upon the pioneering works of Don Peppers & Martha Rogers (of One to One Marketing fame) and B Joseph Pine II (Mass Customisation). When written in 1993 their ideas were visionary. To-day, with the new interactive mediums and relationship software, companies like yours are now able to realise their ideas for competitive advantage.
Joe Pine, together with James Gilmore, have now published their new book: In Search of the Experience Economy. If Financial Services are to survive, they must at least deliver memorable experiences, but ultimately they should seek to transform the lives of their customers.
