  Why Ads? 

Briefly, What is it?

OT is a method of managing information that closely reflects the real world. As humans, we view real word entities (or objects) and events in 2 ways:
 

  1. Cat pictureFacts about entities and events (Episodic)
  2. Their universal principles (Semantics)

Humans then use language to describe these 2 types of views:
 

  1. Cat family heirarchyThe set of all things to which an entity applies (Extensions)
  2. The definition of the entity which can include its behaviour (Intention)

Often when we define new entities and events we will relate them to previous know items or situations. We can do this in 2 ways:
 

  1. By constructing new objects from existing smaller components
  2. By relating new objects to pre-existing conditions or situations
